Education
I am a User Experience Researcher. This is my second career. In my first career, I was formally trained as a Marriage and Family Therapist after receiving a couple of degrees in clinical and cognitive psychology and accumulating about 6 years of therapy hours with children and play therapy. Then my internal passion as a researcher couldn’t be satiated and I started to work at Stanford for a very interesting project called synchrony where interactions between people were assessed. During this time, I came across many issues where I found bridging the gap between humans and technology was necessary. So, I decided to change the course of my career to jump in to the field of Human Factors equipped with yet another masters in my hand.
